How We Started
In 2005 Bill started to provide families in the Eastern Coachella Valley with Thanksgiving dinners. He started with 20 dinners because that was the amount that fit in his pickup. In 2008, with the help of donations from family and friends, Christmas dinners were added. Distribution grew to 80 dinners. In 2009 Jack and Bill teamed up and added families in the Morongo Basin. Distribution grew to 100 dinners. After distributing 200 dinners in 2020 we realized we were maxed out on distribution with our base of donations by family and friends. Our growth led us to setting up a foundation to expand our donations and increase the number of meals we could provide to families.
Our Mission
Bill and Jack are a couple of retired guys trying to help families through food distribution. We enlisted the help of Jack's son, RJ, and Bill's daughter, Katie, for technical and organizational help. Our goal is simple, we want to help as many families as we can with monthly food donations and holiday dinners. We want to provide more than just food, we want to give hope.
